Vermouth

There are hundreds of classic and modern classic cocktail recipes that use vermouth. So why is this important ingredient so often relegated to second fiddle. I mean, there wouldn’t be the Manhattan or Martini without vermouth.

Bennett visits two friends to learn about the criminally underappreciated ingredients to get to the bottom of it. First he visits Cory, co-founder of Method Spirts, to talk about the different styles of vermouth and what makes the sweet and dry styles different.

Then Bennett turns to his old friend Sother, about how they use vermouth at Amor Y Amargo. He walks us through three fantastic cocktails that show how versatile vermouth can be in a recipe.
